But, feeling worn out from trying to live up to expectations, mildly sedated Ann summons up the courage to do the unthinkable: sneak out of her golden cage on a quiet starry night to experience life for the first time in her well-orchestrated life. And before long, as wide-eyed Ann meanders through the iconic cobblestone streets of the bustling city that never sleeps, a chance encounter with gallant American reporter Joe Bradley paves the way for a merry escapade just like in the movies.
