Cool, adventurous event planner Adam Parker agreed to help plan his favorite cousin and buddy Paul Taylor's wedding to Lucy jock style, but Paul's mother Gabby Taylor brings in professional wedding planner Jessica Summers to push their pink girlish ideas. As Adam and Jessica clashed over the venue where they met, they do know proxy for Paul and Lucy. Yet, especially through her bright pre-teen son Luke, who desperately wants a dog like Adam's and finally finds a father figure in the former college player to practice basketball, they bond while finding matches in practice remains challenging, but compromises are found to the couple's liking.
