Kamal Kishore Khosla is a retired middle-class man living in Delhi with his wife, daughter, and two sons. His elder son, software engineer son Chiraunjilal, is barely interested in family affairs and is planning to relocate to the US while the younger, Balwant, although cheerful, is not much thought of by his father. Sharma has put all his life's savings into buying a plot outside Delhi, but on the day of their shifting, they find their plot has been taken overnight by Khurana Builders.
