Evergreen, Vermont's charming sheriff Kevin Miller gives a warm welcome back to local-born shop designer Lisa Palmer, who is in town with business partner Oliver, to help nostalgic mayor Ezra Green, who inherited town focus Daisy's General Store but can't run it, pimp it, sadly for sale to an outlet chain. Hooking up on the local strong Christmas tradition, inspired by a 25-year-old letter Daisy left, they do a good job, revitalizing the whole community, complete with a mailbox for Santa, yet not quite enough for the chain, while Cupid matches Lisa and Kevin, who mistook Oliver for her fiance.—KGF Vissers
